Acting Course
We offer an Acting pathway for students aged 16-18 at the start of the programme.
The qualification is:
Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practise (2 years)
Your area of specialisation will be Acting. The BTEC in performing arts is a nationally recognised qualification and is equivalent to up to three A-Levels.
The course is delivered as part of our partnership with London South East Colleges and is based at our studios at The Link in Abbey Wood SE2.
Live shows take place in one of our performance spaces, many of which are open to the public. Assessments all take place internally, though some may be externally assessed or moderated.
The course is based around core acting skills including script-work, improvisation, character building, voice, movement and audition technique.
Entry Requirements
Skills audition
Level 3 - 4 GCSEs at grade 9 – 4/A* – C, including English and Maths, or a Level 2 qualification (Merit or Distinction) in a related subject.
We will accept applications from students aged 16-18 at the start of the course.
Fees
UK residents:
Age 16-18: No fees are due.
Overseas students:
Payment of fees may be required. Please contact us for information.
